Air Sharing ApppGoogle is a leader in cloud services. From GoogleDocs to Gmail, Google is working hard to cover all of the cloud computing bases. They seem to be striving to be your one-stop resource for all of your computing needs.

Each cloud service provides a distinct service and Google does not appear to be slowing down on improvements and new releases. As mentioned in a previous post, the elusive GDrive will hopefully be launched in the near future, just one more way Google is working to make their users happy.

GoogleDocs is a great web-based office suite. It is a useful resource for online collaboration between people. The only thing missing from this suite has been a convenient iOS app. Users of GoogleDocs have always had to access their documents through a web-browser, even on their iPhones and iPads. Fortunately, Avatron Software recognized the need for a GoogleDoc app.

Introducing Air Sharing 2.7

The Air Sharing app has been on the market for a while. This useful document-viewing app has made it easy for folks to drag and drop their files to their mobile iOS device and view them with the app. Air Sharing 2.7 has added another feature – compatibility with GoogleDocs. The latest app version is designed to be user-friendly and iOS compatible. Air Sharing 2.7 makes it easy to view and navigate GoogleDocs on your iPhone or iPad.

The app still works as before – connect your iOS device to your computer and add the files you want to your mobile device. The price of Air Sharing depends on which plan you choose. The basic edition is $2.99, while the Pro version is $6.99. With the Pro version, you have the ability to copy, print and email from with the Air Sharing app.

A Positive Future for Mobile Computing

As Google continues to make needed developments in the world of cloud computing, other software companies will continue to make mobile cloud computing easier. This particular app is only one example of software companies working with existing services to create an app that brings it all to your mobile device.

When you hear the words, “there’s an app for that,” in most cases, it will be true. Mobile computing is quickly becoming a standard way to operate, whether you are the average person looking to share a few pics or the business executive needing to collaborate around the world. The future of cloud computing looks bright – it wouldn’t be surprising to see all forms of computing being possible from a mobile device. It is just a matter of when.
